The salon owner at Lunula, Alicia, found her perfect match in ThirtyEightCo. She regularly updates her business branding in order to keep-up with current trends in the beauty industry and during the years we have worked with her, we have enjoyed exploring new ways of showcasing each of the many different services the salon offers.
Her goal was to make it as easy and clear as possible for client’s to be able to view the ever-expanding list of treatments, that also illustrates her strong branding guidelines.
We created new branding guidelines that are lighter and way more user friendly, along with simple material design cards that allow clients to view what each treatment looks like and read the details about it. We added a ‘Book’, ‘Call’ and ‘Message’ button to the top right of each page making it easy for clients to book treatments or drop the salon a message wherever they are on the website.
With 84% of users visiting the site on a mobile device or tablet, it was key that we adapted each page to function perfectly and load quickly.
We also made certain aspects of the site editable by the staff themselves. For instance the Salon Manager can now edit the blog herself, adding new content with ease and efficiency, whilst also sharing the individual blog link to their weekly mailer and social media platforms.
Since finishing Lunula’s most recent redesign, we accompanied this by creating new flyers, business cards and loyalty cards. These all compliment the new design and have helped spread the word about Lunula around the surrounding area.
